Shirley Burton Powell

Mrs. Shirley Burton Powell of Timberlake, NC, and formely of South Boston, VA, died September 17, 2010 at her home in Timberlake. She was born February 18, 1937 in Halifax County and was 73 years old at her death. She was the daughter of the late Clyde (Jesse) Burton and Dorothy Francis Burton ane was married to the late Herbert Lester Powell Sr. She was a member of the Ash Avenue Baptist Church in South Boston, VA and was a retired cloth grader with JPS.
