Ira Robey Wilkerson

Mr. Ira Robey Wilkerson of 9204 JD Hagood Hwy, Scottsburg, VA died August 14, 2010 at Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born August 31, 1928 in Charlotte County, VA and was 81 years old at his death. He was the son of the late William Hannibal Wilkerson and Ellie Robey Wilkerson and was married to Mary Chisholm Wilkerson. He was a member of the Porter Fellowship class at the Clover Methodist Church of which he was a 53 year member and where he taught Sunday School and sang in the choir and was a member of the church Quintet. He also was an active member of the Bethel Ruritan Club. After retiring from Georgia Pacific, he was employed at the Staunton River Battlefield State Park.
