Alma Jaunell Quick

Alma "Jaunell" Quick, 93, of Bowie, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 29^th, 2022.

Funeral services will take place Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Stewart officiating.  Burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Scottsburg, VA.

The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.

Jaunell was born April 7, 1929 in Wirt, OK to William and Dora Pollard. She was a graduate of Dundee High School in Oklahoma. Jaunell married Raymond Albert Quick on April 30, 1950 in Pauls Valley, OK. She was a pastor’s wife until Raymond’s death on April 14, 1998 but continued to serve the Lord faithfully. Jaunell had a loving heart and sense of humor that will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond Quick, eldest son Ray Quick, and her 4 brothers and sisters.

Jaunell is survived by her son, Mark Elliott Quick of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Gayonne Beavers and husband Shane of Bowie, TX; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
