Arlene Crabtree Jones

Arlene Crabtree Jones of South Boston, VA passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 81.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on December 29, 1942 to the late Phillip Warren Crabtree and the late Virginia Moore Crabtree.  She was married to the late Robert Kline Jones.

She was a member of Dan River Baptist Church, and a charter member of South Boston Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.  Arlene enjoyed listening to the radio and doing word puzzles, but she especially loved her family.

A memorial service will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Johnson officiating. 

The family will receive friends Monday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
