Arthur Wayne Williams

Arthur Wayne Williams of Alton, VA passed away January 1, 2024 at the age of 84.  He was born in Lynchburg, VA on April 17, 1939 to the late Pershing Dean Williams and the late Mabel Ruth McGinnis Williams.  He was married to Cheryl Lynn (Botello) Williams who survives.

Arthur served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era for one tour and then reenlisted in the United States Marines.  He was the retired owner and operator of Seminole Auto Sales.  After retiring he found enjoyment in woodworking, refurbishing antiques pocket watches and the restoration of antique cars.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home.
