Barbara Chappell Mickles

Barbara Chappell Mickles, 71 of Halifax, VA passed away May 13, 2023.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on December 2, 1951 to the late Theron Chappell and the late Elsie Moore Chappell.

She was of the Methodist faith.  Barbara loved tulips, working puzzles, watching hummingbirds, dolphins, but most of all she loved bragging about her grandchildren.  Her passing will leave an enormous hole in our hearts and will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating.  

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 28, 2023 one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
