Bernice Ellen Bray

Bernice Ellen Stanley Bray of Nathalie, VA passed away June 8, 2021.  She was born in Halifax County on May 3, 1931 and was 90 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late James E. Stanley and the late Myrtle Crews Stanley Bray. She was married to the late John Lee Bray.

She was a member of Liberty Christian Church where she served as Sunday School teacher for many years. She and her husband ran Liberty Mini Mart until their retirement.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Liberty Christian Church Cemetery the Rev. Don Bryant officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home.
