Betty Jean Dixon Rickman

Betty Jean Dixon Rickman, 75, of Halifax, passed away on Tuesday, October 30 at Berry Hill Nursing Home after strongly battling cancer over the past couple of years. Mrs. Rickman was born in Halifax County on July 12, 1943, a daughter of the late Tillman Lee Dixon and the late Lavonia Moss Dixon. She lived in Halifax her entire life and worked in various jobs including Tultex, Roses and CVS. She was a member of Revelation Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Norman Talley and Pastor Billy Coghill officiating. Interment will follow in Clover Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at the Rickman residence, 1085 Fordland Drive, Halifax.
