Betty Conner Saunders

Betty Conner Saunders of Halifax County, VA passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 85. She was born in Halifax County on December 27, 1938 to the late Willis Thomas Conner and the late Minnie Wilbourne Conner. She was married to the late Carl Milton Saunders.

 She was a member of Dan River Baptist Church and Dan River Ruritan Club. Betty retired from the Dan River Baptist Association after 20 plus years of dedicated service. She enjoyed doing cross-stitch and loved to share her handiwork. She dearly loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

 A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Dan River Baptist Church with the Rev. John Campbell and the Rev. Dennis Knight officiating. 

 The family will receive friends on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of her son, 961 White Ridge Rd, Sutherlin, VA 24594.
