Betty Lou Snead

Betty Lou Snead of Scottsburg, VA passed away October 21, 2018.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on May 26, 1926 and was 92 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Willie Marshall Cliborne and the late Martha Ann Brown Cliborne. She was married to the late Hugh Gravitt Snead.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Shelton officiating. Burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at her home, 1136 Burton Road, Scottsburg.
