Bobby Wayne Powell

Bobby Wayne Powell of Scottsburg, VA passed away July 7, 2021.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on May 28, 1952 and was 69 years of age. He was the son of the late Dalton Powell and the late Sallie Snead Powell.

He was a member of Fork Baptist Church.  Bobby was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and sports.  He will be remembered as beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 10,2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Warfield and Rev. Zak Ford officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home.
