Bobby Larry Williams

Bobby Larry Williams of Clover, VA passed away August 17, 2020.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on December 28, 1939 and was 80 years of age. He was the son of the late Samuel Isaac Williams and the late Ruby Francisco Williams. He was married to Mary Lee Seay Williams who survives.

He retired after more than 60 years from the grocery business. Bobby was a man full of life, joy, always had a laugh to share and a twinkle in his bright blue eyes. He was a man of few words but, when he spoke, those words held meaning. He believed in God and he was a devoted Christian.  He loved his family, his community, and shared his gifts with all whom he met. He will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held Friday, August 21, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Aubrey Heath and Rev. Jesse Young officiating. Burial to follow in Clover Cemetery. In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, masks and social distancing are suggested.
