Bonnie Campbell Barksdale

Bonnie Jean Campbell Barksdale of Nathalie, VA passed away January 1, 2024.  She was born in Fauquier County, VA on March 26, 1952 and was 71 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Henry Campbell and the late Mary Frasier Campbell.  She was married to Lacy Kent Barksdale who survives.

She was of the Baptist Faith.  Bonnie was a retired nurse from the Halifax County Public Schools System.  In her younger years she enjoyed fishing, hunting and she dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry “Eddie” Woody, Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
