Carolyn Thomason Waltman

Carolyn Thomason Waltman of South Boston, VA passed away May 12, 2022.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on July 23, 1939 and was 82 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Carroll Lee Thomason and the late Mary Loftis Thomason. She was married to the late Charles E. Waltman, Jr.

She was a dedicated member of Southside Baptist Church where she was a long-time choir member and served on the hospitality committee.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at 121 White Oak Dr., South Boston, VA.
