Catherine Williams Francisco

Catherine Williams Francisco of Halifax, VA passed away July 3, 2020 at her home. She was born in Halifax County, VA on January 24, 1924 and was 96 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Willie J. Williams and the late Martha Ann Martin Williams. She was married to the late Walter Andrew Francisco.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She loved her family and friends. She was a farmer’s wife and she worked very hard. She was an amazing cook. She made the best fried chicken and biscuits. She loved to laugh and take care of everybody. Everybody loved her.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating. Burial to follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 10 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home.
