Catherine Waskey White

Catherine Waskey “Kitty” White, 89, peacefully passed away on August 25, 2023.  She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth L. “Sonny Boy” White.  Born on December 31, 1933 in Botetourt County, VA to the late Cash Edward Waskey and the late Stella Leighton Waskey. 

Kitty was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who adored spending time with her family.

A Chapel service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Powell Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Wooten officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and on Sunday afternoon from 2-4:00 P.M. at her home.
