Cecile Jean Seamster Newbill

Cecile Jean Seamster Newbill of Scottsburg, VA passed away March 9, 2020.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on May 20, 1938 and was 81 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Rufus Havious Seamster and the late Willie Mae Wallace Seamster. She was married to the late Evan Hardy Newbill.

She was a member of Fork Baptist Church. Cecile enjoyed gardening, quilting and loved cutting her grass.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Cris Noble and Rev. Ken Warfield officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at Fork Baptist Church and other times at the home of Wanda Snead, 1129 MacDonald Rd, Scottsburg, VA.
