Charles Anthony Burton

Mr. Charles Anthony Burton of Halifax, VA passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at his home. He was born in Halifax County, VA on October 2, 1962 and was 59 years old.  He was the son of the late Reuben Anthony Burton and the late Elsie Ferrell Burton. He was a former member of Oak Level Presbyterian Church and was employed by Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital.  He truly loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time fishing, hunting, and gardening.  He was exceptional at woodworking and making items from cedar and oak.  He obtained the rank of Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 410.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Level Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
