Charles Edmund Peck, age 71, of Halifax, VA passed away on August 29, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut on February 19, 1950. He was the son of the late Stuart Malcom Peck and his wife Mary Lucy Capuano Peck. He was married to his wife Shirley Ann Hunter Peck for 47 years. They were sealed for all time and eternity in the London Temple in England. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Chuck fell in love with the drums at a young age and studied under the Legend Jimmy Stavris Sr. He was an accomplished singer, songwriter and artist. He made countless memories and lifelong friendships through his music and ultimately met the love of his life.
In 1976 to pursue his dreams, He packed his family and went to Hollywood, CA. He ended up with an amazing 36-year career working in the motion picture industry. He was a member of Local 729 Motion Picture Set Painters & Sign Writers, and his work has been immortalized on the silver screen for the world to see.
He retired to Halifax, VA and loved his wife, his family, and his church until the good Lord called him home.
He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Rebecca Mary Peck and his older brother Stuart Malcom Peck Jr.
He leaves behind his wife Shirley Ann Peck of Halifax

A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 3192 Dan River Church Rd, South Boston VA on Saturday September 4, 2021 at 11:00am with Branch President Ron Price conducting.
The Family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
