Chase Andrew LaRue

Chase Andrew LaRue, 24, of Halifax, VA passed away July 17, 2023.  He was born in South Boston, VA on December 21, 1998 to Troy Andrew LaRue, Jr. and Sabrina Mills LaRue who survive.

Chase was born and raised in South Boston, Virginia. Throughout his life, he made countless memories, but some of his most cherished moments were spent hanging out with family and friends.

He was an electrician with Spuntech Industry in Roxboro, NC.  In addition to his career, Chase also served as a dedicated volunteer member of the Halifax Fire Department. He had a deep sense of duty and found fulfillment in helping others through their most difficult times. Whether it was responding to emergencies or providing assistance through Fire and Rescue services, Chase's commitment to serving the community was unwavering.

To honor Chase's life and legacy, a visitation will be held at Powell Funeral Home on July 20, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
