Christopher Michael Bomar

Christopher Michael “Mikey” Bomar of South Boston, VA passed away December 20, 2021.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on August 25, 1977 and was 44 years of age. He was the son of the late Michael Thomas Bomar and the late Christy Lynn Whitlow Bomar. He was married to Jennifer Justus Bomar who survives.

He was a member of Mt. Laurel United Methodist Church.  Mikey was a member of American Legion Post 8, an avid baseball and sports fan, had a competitive nature and was known for his quick wit as well as being a jokester. He will be remembered as a loving husband, brother, son and uncle.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 26, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Olive Branch United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Trickey officiating. Burial to follow in Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of his sister, 1220 N. Main Street, South Boston.
