Dorothy Walton Motley

Dorothy Walton Motley, 97 of Vernon Hill, VA passed away on December 11, 2023.  She was born on September 22, 1926 to the late Wade Norman Walton and the late Helen Dunn Walton.  She was married to the late Archer R. Motley.

She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.  Dorothy loved reading, traveling, gardening, and tending to her flowers.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Coy Terry officiating. Burial to follow in County Line Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
