Dorothy Christine Vernon

Dorothy Christine Vernon of South Boston, VA passed away surrounded by her family on August 29, 2022.   She was born in Halifax County, VA on August 28, 1943 and was 79 years of age.  She was the daughter of Mary Dickerson Vernon and the late William Irvin Vernon.  

She was a member of Alton Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held Monday, September 5, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
