Douglas Gray Landrum, Sr.

Douglas Gray Landrum, Sr., 78, of Halifax, VA passed away on August 24, 2023.  He was born in Halifax County to the late Polly Chaney Landrum and the late Mamie Satterfield Landrum. He was married to Violet Conner Landrum who survives.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church.  Douglas enjoyed life to its fullest each day.  He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening, and keeping the church road clean.  His memory will live on in our hearts.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Grove Christian Church with the Rev. Russell Terry officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at his home.
