Eleanor Boswell Alderson

Eleanor Boswell Alderson of South Boston, VA passed away April 25, 2019.  She was born in Halifax County on June 23, 1924 and was 94 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Hezzie Boswell and the late Bessie Brown Talbott Boswell. She was married to the late Edgar Harvey Alderson.

She was a member of Arbor Baptist Church and loved going to church but hated missing when she was unable to attend. She was also a great seamstress and enjoyed cooking.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Wooten and Rev. Larry Davis officiating.

The family will receive friends at her home, 6196 Huell Matthew Hwy, South Boston.
