Elgie Brunson Crews

Elgie Brunson Crews of South Boston, VA passed away June 5, 2023.  She was born in Fayetteville, NC on April 5, 1934 and was 89 years of age.  She was the daughter of the late Thad Brunson and the late Thara Lambert Brunson Melvin.  She was married to the late Jessie Edward Crews.

She attended True Life Baptist Church.  Elgie loved her children, grandchildren, and animals.    

She will be remembered in love.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 at Powell Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Greg Thomas officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 16, 2023 one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
