Evan Shelton Smith

Evan Shelton Smith of Richmond, VA, passed away August 11, 2018.  He was born in Durham, NC on May 17, 1989 and was 29 years of age. He was the son of Paul and Karen Shelton Smith. He was a member of Dan River Baptist Church.

 

Evan graduated from Halifax County High School where he not only played football but was also active in both high school and community theatre. He was a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.

A celebration of life service will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Dan River Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike McDowell and Rev. Doug Gibson officiating.

 

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. And other times at the home of Paul and Karen Smith, 1115 W. Oak Hill Drive, Halifax, VA.
