Faye Shelton Keesee

Mrs. Faye Shelton Keesee of Halifax, VA peacefully transitioned into her eternal rest on March 21, 2025, at the blessed age of 97. She was born in Pittsylvania County on April 9, 1927, to the late Walter Shelton and the late Faye Elmer Shelton. She was married to the late Roy Keesee.

Faye was a lifelong member of Halifax Baptist Church. She was a woman of unwavering belief, whose love for the Lord shone through every aspect of her life. She found joy in teaching children in Sunday School, WMU, prayer, strength in scripture, and peace in the promises of eternal life. Faye shared her faith through her smile, kindness, compassion, and an unyielding trust in God's plan.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Halifax Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Collins officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
