Francis O. Lewis

Francis O. Lewis of Nathalie, VA passed away March 10, 2019.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on August 15, 1927 and was 91 years of age. He was the son of the late Venable A. Lewis and the late Liza Hudson Lewis. He was married to Phyllis Hodges Lewis who survives.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Millstone and a United Sates Army Veteran. Francis was well known in his community as he farmed, worked in tobacco warehouses and as a car salesman. He will be long remembered by many for his outgoing personality and charm.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Millstone Cemetery with the Barry Fero officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at Frist Baptist Church of Millstone.
