Frank Lee Saunders, Jr.

Mr. Frank Lee Saunders, Jr. of South Boston, VA passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 in Lynchburg, VA. He was born October 5, 1941 in Halifax County, VA and was 83 years old. He was the son of the late Frank Lee Saunders, Sr. and the late Audrey Peade Saunders Vaughan.

He was a member of the Catawba Baptist Church. Frank was a master furniture builder who loved working with wood. He also was an avid fisherman who loved both fresh water and deep- sea fishing. Frank loved his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside services will be held Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Volens Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Garnett Shortt and the Rev. Richard Boswell officiating. 

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church and other times at the home of Tommy and Doris Epps, 2005 Bellevue Rd, Halifax, VA 24558.
