Gary Davis Whitt

Gary Davis Whitt of South Boston, VA passed away March 30, 2020.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on August 11, 1950 and was 69 years of age. He was the son of Frances Smith Whitt and the late Owen Davis Whitt. He was married to Sandra Saunders Whitt who survives.

He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He loved his farming, baseball, racing and growing vegetables in his garden.  Gary was an avid hunter and one of the founding members of the Hyco Road Hunting Club which consist of many of his best friends.

A private graveside service will be held Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Cherry Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Stewart and Rev. Randy Holmes officiating.
