Gertrude Williams Francisco

On. October 27, 2024, the Lord called his servant, Gertrude Williams Francisco, 98, home to her eternal resting place.

She was born in Halifax County on April 12, 1926 to the late Willie J. Williams and the late Martha Ann Martin Williams. She was married to the late Eugene M. Francisco for 56 years. After raising 4 children, which included a set of twins, and working on the farm, she was employed at Craddock-Terry Shoe Corp., Halifax Cotton Mills and Hilden Halifax. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church & the Ellen Clark Sunday School Class.

 In addition to her husband & parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Alfred (Freddie) Eugene Francisco.

 A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Sean McGuire officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.

 Family will happily accept flowers in honor of her memory since they brought Mom so much joy.
