Gladys Stevens Dodson

Gladys Stevens Dodson of Halifax, VA passed away December 22, 2021 peacefully at home.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on February 10, 1924 and was 97 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Thomas E. Stevens and the late Nora Price Stevens. She was married to the late William Efford “Jerry” Dodson.

She was a member of Winns Creek Baptist Church, as well as several other organizations.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2:00 at Winns Creek Baptist Church. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at 2187 Winns Creek Rd., Halifax. one hour prior to the service.
