Harold Wayne Smith

Mr. Harold Wayne Smith of South Boston, VA passed away Friday, February 26.2021 at the South Boston Health and Rehab. He was born in Halifax County, VA on July 24, 1945 and was 75 years old. He was the son of the late Theodore Smith and the late Olivia F. Smith but was raised by a devoted uncle and aunt, the late Lacy and Louise Smith. He was married to Edith Hazelwood Bray, who survives. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and loved gospel music and hearing the preached word. Mr. Harold Smith is survived by: His devoted Wife Edith Bray of South Boston Two Step-children David Bray, Jr. of Keeling, VA Teresa Bray of Warrenton, VA One sister-in-law, Carolyn Carrington of Roxboro, NC A number of relatives and special friends Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M.at the Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Stewart and the Rev. Coy Terry officiating. In keeping with CDC guidelines social distancing and facemask are recommended.
