Helen Moorefield Snead

Helen Irene Moorefield Snead of Scottsburg, VA passed away January 14, 2019. She was born in Halifax County, VA on April 6, 1923 and was 95 years of age. She was the daughter of the late William Frank Moorefield and the late Stella Wilmouth Moorefield.  She was married to the late Rupert D. Snead.

She was a life-long member of Scottsburg Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 17,2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kermit Evans officiating. Burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
