Howard Lewis Powell, Sr.

Howard Lewis Powell, Sr. of Nathalie, VA passed away January 17, 2021.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on May 4, 1942 and was 78 years of age. He was the son of the late James H. Powell and the late Mary Conner Powell. He was married to Anita Rice Powell.

He attended Fork Baptist Church and his passion was hunting, fishing and restoring old cars.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Liberty Christian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating. In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, we recommend the wearing of face masks and practice social distaining.

The service will be livestreamed via Powell Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
