Ida Grace Wilborn Trickey

Mrs. Ida Grace Wilborn Trickey of South Boston, VA went to her heavenly home on Saturday, August 11, 2018.  She was born July 7, 1927 in Halifax County, VA and was 91 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Rev. James R. Wilborn and Mary Thomas Wilborn and was married to the late Cephus Henry Trickey.  She faithfully attended Second Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Todd Trickey and wife Brenda of Halifax
Three grandsons
Kevin Crenshaw and wife Hillary of South Boston
Jason Crenshaw and wife Michelle of South Boston
Robert Carter III and wife Amanda of Halifax
Three great- grandchildren
Max Crenshaw, Rylan Carter, and Katie Mann

She was preceded in death by a son, Cephus H. Trickey Jr., two sisters, Lottie W. Vaughan and Geraldine W. Redd, and three brothers, Richard E. Wilborn, Paul “Red” E. Wilborn, and Floyd L. Wilborn

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 14^th at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Linderman officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Powell Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7-8:30 PM and other times at her home, 101 Sycamore Road, South Boston.
