Imogene "Emma Lee" Whitt Robertson

Imogene "Emma Lee" Whitt Robertson of South Boston, VA passed away October 30, 2020.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on October 22, 1923 and was 97 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Jack Buntin Whitt and the late Lillian Spencer Whitt. She was married to the late Virgil Robertson.

She was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved her church and her church family. When the church van rolled she was onboard and ready to travel.  Imogene was a hard worker, loved gardening, being a homemaker, and especially enjoyed reading. When she received the Richmond Times Dispatch newspaper, she didn’t stop until she read it front to back. She was an avid geneologist and loved the study of family history.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Halifax Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Susan Davis officiating. In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, masks are requested as well as social distancing.
