Innis "Oshie" Boggs Hatcher

Innis “Oshie” Boggs Hatcher of Scottsburg, VA passed away on December 30, 2024 at the blessed age of 100. She was born in Wise County, VA on July 30, 1924 to the late Curtis Feirl Boggs and the late Vesta Hamilton Boggs. She was married to the late John Wilson “Johnny” Hatcher, Jr. 

She was a member of Scottsburg Baptist Church. Oshie loved flowers, taking care of her grandkids, sewing and cooking.

 A funeral will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Scottsburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Kermit Evans officiating. Burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 till 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at her home, 2200 Coleman Rd., Scottsburg, VA.
