James Wayne Andrews

Mr. James Wayne Andrews of Halifax, VA passed away January 3, 2025. He was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on June 7, 1940 and was 84 years old. He was the son of the late Charlie Donald Andrews and the late Mary Frances East Andrews. He was a member of Halifax Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver with Powell’s Trucking. He was an avid race fan and loved tinkering with cars. James was deeply loved by all of his family and will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Halifax Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Collins officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
