James Wyatt Barczak

Mr. James Wyatt Barczak of South Boston, VA passed away Friday. September 7, 2018 at his home.  He was born October 13, 1971 in Halifax County, VA and was 46 years of age.  He was the son of Joanna Chaffin Hughes and the late James Barczak.

He was of the Presbyterian faith and an advocate for cancer survivors. He was also a member of the South Boston Jaycees.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Russell Lee officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 21, 2018 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at his home, 1209 North Main Street, South Boston, VA.
