James Edward Sadler

Mr. James Edward Sadler of South Boston, VA passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born in Halifax County, VA on March 8, 1945 and was 76 years old.  He was the son of the late John Andrew Sadler and the late Masuria Mae Rickman Sadler and was married to Betty DeJarnette Sadler, who survives.

 

He was a member of the Beth Car Baptist Church and a retired Industrial Engineer with JP Stevens, the Halifax Cotton Mill and last with the US Flue Cured Tobacco Growers in Roxboro, NC. He was also the owner/operator of Sadler’s Machine Shop.

 A private graveside will be held on Monday, September 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Thad Decker officiating.
