Janice Conner Chappell

Mrs. Janice Conner Chappell of South Boston, VA passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at her home. She was born in Harrisonburg, PA on December 8, 1946 and was 75 years old. She was the daughter of the late James Conner Jr. and the late Mary Nevins Conner and was married to the late John William Chappell. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She loved gardening and planting flowers. Her special times were those spent with her family and friends. Survivors include: Her son William Chappell of Danville, VA Nieces and nephews Amy Conner of South Boston Vicki Frances of Clover Ginger Owen of Vernon Hill Diane Conner of Red Oak Cathy Tate of Vernon Hill Jamie Chappell of Vernon Hill Bob Frances of Vernon Hill Chris Laughorn of Danville Chad Laughorn of Vernon Hill Special friend Monroe Hudson of Alton She was also preceded in death by a son, John Michael Chappell. A graveside Service will be held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 3:00 PM with Pastor David Smith officiating.
