Jean Marie Moore Hazelwood

Jean Marie Moore Hazelwood of Halifax, VA passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 82. She was born in Halifax County, VA on March 24, 1942 to the late Clarence Cornelius Moore and the late Annie Ruby Jennings Moore. She was married to the late David Bradley Hazelwood. 

 Jean was a lifelong follower of Christ, her Lord and Savior. She loved doing word searches, puzzles, reading, being outside and bird watching. Her passing will leave a void to all who knew her.

 A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home with the Rev. Randall Waller officiating. 

 The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, one hour prior to the service.
