Jean Fears Moorefield

Mrs. Jean Fears Moorefield of Nathalie, VA passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on September 14, 1951 and was 70 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Joe Joseph Fears, Jr. and the late Louise Seamster Fears.  She was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church and was a retired dental assistant. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She loved gardening and shopping for a bargain.

Tracey M. Lewis and husband Barry Jr. of Clover
Two grandchildren
Kaitlyn M. Cole and husband Arthur of South Boston
Jordyn P. Lewis of Clover
Two great grandchildren
Maverick and Carmen Cole

She was preceded in death by:

Two sisters
Hilda F. Hatchett and Patricia Ann Fears

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Norman Talley officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at 3171 Neals Corner Road, Clover.
