Mrs. Jeanette Landrum Carter of South Boston, VA passed away at her home on Friday, October 12, 2018. She was born in Halifax County of September 23, 1936 and was 82 years old. She was the daughter of the late Kermit Linwood Landrum and Elizabeth Womack Landrum and was married for 52 years to Aubrey Lacy Carter. She was an active member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church, was a member of Woodmen of The World Chapter 106, and was employed by Virginia Power for 36 years. Betty Marshall and Rev. Norman Talley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of Michael and Denise Welcher, 7116 Bill Tuck Hwy., Virgilina.
