Jennifer Ann Nichols of Saxe, VA passed away February 3, 2021. She was born in Halifax County, VA on April 12, 1987 and was 33 years of age. She was the daughter of Sharon N. Bass and her husband David and the late Michael Rutledge.
She was a member of Clover Church of God of Prophecy, where she managed the audio, Youth Sunday School teacher, and very active with Halifax County Cancer Association.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Clover Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial to follow in Clover Cemetery. In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, funeral service will be livestreamed via Powell Funeral Home’s Facebook page. We recommend the wearing of face masks and practice social distancing.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 5, 2021 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at her home.
