Jerry Lovelace Martin

Mr. Jerry Lovelace Martin Sr. of South Boston, VA passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital.  He was born April 7, 1955 in Halifax County, VA and was 66 years old.  He was the son of the late Noland Luther Martin and the late Evelyn Lloyd Martin Beadles, and was married to Janice Martin Wilborn for 23 years. Mr. Martin was a member of Ash Avenue Baptist Church and a lifelong mechanic.

Graveside services will be held at First Baptist Church of Republican Grove Cemetery Monday, April 4, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 7-8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home, and other times at the home of their daughter Jennifer Allen, 2249 North Terry’s Bridge Road Halifax, VA 24558
