John Archer Gordon

John Archer Gordon of Halifax, VA passed away November 2, 2021.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on July 18, 1945 and was 76 years of age. He was the son of the late William Gordon and the late Lucille Smith Gordon.

He loved bluegrass music, old cars, helping others and fishing. John will remembered as a loving father and friend.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norman Talley officiating. Burial to follow in Black Walnut Church Cemetery

The family will receive friends Sunday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
