Joseph Benford "Joe" Hazelwood

Joseph Benford “Joe” Hazelwood of Clover, VA passed away June 25, 2021. He was born in Halifax County, VA on June 18, 1938 and was 83 years of age. He was the son of the late Roller Harrison Hazelwood and the late Gracie Catherine Hazelwood. He was married to Barbara Jean Hazelwood who survives. He was a member of Rodgers Chapel Baptist Church. Joe retired from Burlington Industries and many years of dedicated service. He was a mechanic, gardener, fisherman, and hunter. A private graveside service will be held Monday, June 28 at 11:00 AM at Rodgers Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Aubrey Heath officiating. The family will receive friends at his home.
